4 Magic Words To Gain Instant Trust

Last week we spoke about using Commercial Words to get a “yes”.
Would it be ok if today I showed you how to build instant trust and rapport?

Well you know how sometimes you feel awkward in a conversation, or even a bit clumsy? If you don’t start the conversation right it could end badly and lead to lost sales.

Well you know how if you knew the right words to say, you could avoid triggering alarm bells or making people feel uncomfortable?

I use these 4 words a lot in my business - they are:

“Well you know how…”

These 4 words are a nice conversation opener they can be used in person, on the phone or even in written sales copy. Here are some examples:

Well you know how… getting clients is difficult?

Well you know how… speaking in public can be stressful?

Well you know how… making money can be tough?

Well you know how… the economy is challenging right now?

This way you bypass their alarm bell response and communicate directly to their subconscious mind. Make this phrase even more powerful by following “well you know how…” with a fact your prospect must agree with. When you do this, you put the prospective client into an agreeable state of mind. These words get people to “buy in” and trust you; making them more receptive to any suggestions you make.

A Bit Of Humour For You

A shopkeeper was dismayed when a brand new business much like his own opened up next door on the left and erected a huge sign which read 'BEST DEALS.'

He was horrified when another competitor opened up on his right, and announced its arrival with an even larger sign, reading 'LOWEST PRICES.'

The shopkeeper panicked, until he got an idea. He put the biggest sign of all over his own shop.

It read 'MAIN ENTRANCE'.
